How to Prepare for Your Notary Appointment

At Corinne Notary Services, we want to ensure your notarization process is quick and hassle-free. Follow these simple steps to be fully prepared for your appointment:

βœ… 1. Bring a Valid ID

You must present a government-issued photo ID for identity verification. Acceptable forms include:

  • Driver’s License or State ID

  • Passport

  • Military ID

  • Green Card or Other Government-Issued Identification

πŸ“ 2. Have Your Documents Ready

  • Bring the complete document that needs notarization.

  • Do NOT sign the document beforehand – The notary must witness your signature.

  • Ensure all blank spaces are filled in, except those requiring a notary.

πŸ‘€ 3. Know the Type of Notarization Needed

If unsure, check with the requesting party. Common notarizations include:

  • Acknowledgment – Confirms you signed voluntarily.

  • Jurat (Oath/Affirmation) – Requires you to swear or affirm the truthfulness of the document.

πŸ‘₯ 4. Bring Required Witnesses (If Needed)

Some documents require witnesses in addition to a notary. If you need us to provide witnesses we can serve you upon notification of this needed service. Witnesses cannot be related to you or have an interest in the document.

πŸ’³ 5. Payment & Fees

  • Be prepared to pay the notary fee at the time of service.

  • We accept Cash App, cash, card, Zelle, etc.

πŸš— 6. Mobile Notary? Have a Designated Meeting Spot

If you booked a mobile notary service, choose a well-lit, quiet location where the signing can take place without interruptions.
