This fee includes the notarial act (such as an acknowledgment, jurat, or oath/affirmation) and the use of our professional notary seal. Please note that travel fees may apply (0.70 business mileage travel fee) if the notary service is provided at a location of your choice. Fees of Notaries O.C.G.A 45-17-11 A notary may but does not have to charge fees for performing notarial services. A notary shall inform the person requesting any notarial act prior to performing the service if a fee will be charged and the amount permitted by law for each act. The authorized fee is $2.00 for each notarial act. The notary may, upon request of the person asking for notary service, charge an additional $2.00 for providing a certificate from the Clerk of Superior Court of the effectiveness of the notary commission.
